Fully equipped!

There are times on this journey that we often feel inadequate to complete our course. I've been there and so have you. Along the way, life has a way of exposing things in us that we didn't know were there, or magnifying the things that we haven't yet delt with. As we press on in life, it's important to remember that we are all BECOMING something. How we perceive adversity, achievements, disappointments, good times and bad times. All of these things shape us in some way and it is up to us to decide how we will handle them. Nothing screams surprise, shock and frustration like a cops blue and red lights behind you! I mean it's like in the middle of your life you get interrupted because of something that you did in error. I think life is a lot like that in some cases. Everyday we rise and we have no idea what the day may bring. But in spite of all of the things we don't know, we do know this. If you are a person who can accept your short comings, but is able to grow from your mistakes you really are fully equipped. See..being fully equipped is not about having everything you need in life already to succeed at it. Being fully equipped is about developing what you need on a daily basis through understanding yourself. I look at how life has shaped me over the last 43 years. As i have grown i realize that how i think and respond now is a little different than how i did at 23. The point im making here is this. Just because your life may not be what you want right now, doesn't mean that it will never be. Change begins when you believe what it is you can become. Balancing the highs and lows of life takes time and an open mind to change. In running and weight loss, i have found that patience really is a virtue. If you are looking for immediate gratification in life, most of the time you will be disappointed because it never really can be sustained. You have what it takes inside of you to be the best you there is! But you have to grind it out everyday regardless of how it looks. LOL! I can remember when i first started to run. I was like, this is stupid!! Aint nothing changing!! hahaha! But i kept running!! How bout you? Can you keep pushing?? Take the time today to accept who you are and strive to be who you want to be. Don't worry about having everything in order! JUST GO! You'll pick up what you need as you travel through this journey called life! Sodas Down!! Waters up! Peace and Love!
